The second official meeting for the project was held in Cappadocia (Nevsehir), Turkey between 27th March and 1st April, 2011.. The theme of the meeting was "Needs analysis towards employment problems in labour market, adaptation to new technologies and role of local authorities in Turkey and Europe" with participation of representatives of NGOs”
For the meeting in Cappadocia 26 participants from 8 partners attended. In frame of the project we had to negotiate about how to improve the improve the monitoring of short-term trends and to develop tools for better matching of skills and job vacancies on the labour market
Also, we needed to discuss about better information on labor market needs in the mid-term and long-term, with regularly updated projections of future labour market trends and analysis of skills needs by sector.
All partners made presentations about how they realize the needs and how they apply new methods and technologies for the needs already determined…
We also talked about problem-solving and analytical skills, self-management and communication skills, the ability to work in a team, linguistic skills and digital competences.
